SPA110 web adhesive is a hot melt polyamide adhesive produced in nonwoven form. Web adhesives handle like a fabric facilitating both intermittent and continuous processes. The SPA110 web series is available in a range of basis weights from .5 ounces to 2.1 ounces per square yard (14 grams to 60 grams per square yard).

SPA110 web adhesives are sold in roll form. They are typically 500 to 1000 linear yard (457 to 914 linear meter) long rolls on a 3 inch (7.6 cm) inner diameter core. For further packaging details please contact your Bostik sales or technical representative.

Shelf Life

SPA110 should be shipped and stored at temperatures below 130°F (54°C). The shelf life of SPA110 is 730 days under these conditions.

Health and Safety Precautions

The Safety Data Sheet should be consulted for proper handling, clean up and spill containment before use. Keep containers covered to minimize contamination.

Directions for Use

SPA110 web can be activated with any of the following techniques: electric fusing press, dielectric press, heat rolls, heated air, radiant heat, or steam press. Dry heat and steam activation requires 105°C – 110°C (220°F – 230°F). Reactivation time is dependent upon technique, temperature, pressure, substrates, and adhesive thickness, but would fall in the 8 to 10 second range. Works exceptionally well in a dielectric press.
